The Humanities Showcase is a project of 4Humanities started by the 4Humanities@UCSB local chapter at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Humanities Showcase shows the value of the humanities research, teaching, and cultural work--both in traditional fields and exciting new fields demonstrating the link between past, present, and future.

ABOUT 4HUMANITIES
4Humanities is a platform and resource for advocacy of the humanities, drawing on the technologies, new-media expertise, and ideas of the international digital humanities community. The humanities are in trouble today, and digital methods have an important role to play in effectively showing the public why the humanities need to be part of any vision of a future society. 4Humanities is an international initiative currently led by coordinators in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. (See who we are.)
